Summer Spritzers: Sangria Spritzer, Mimosa Spritzer & Grapefruit Ginger Spritzer

Spritzers are perfect for a warm summer afternoon! Light, refreshing and mildly intoxicating - perfect! This week we feature a Sangria Spritzer, Mimosa Spritzer and a Grapefruit Ginger Spritzer. Since your Bonne O pressure infuses and carbonates all the ingredients in the bottle, these spritzers are certain to be the brightest, most refreshing spritzers you have ever tasted!

First for the Sangria Spritzer. This is a lighter, more refreshing version of the traditional Sangria. It uses a white wine and water base with a splash of brandy. The pom and orange syrups add sweetness and it is poured over fresh oranges for fruitiness. To create it, fill the flavor chamber with 2/3rd pomegranate syrup and 1/3rd orange syrup and place a carbonator in the carbonation chamber.  Place a few ice cubes and a splash of brandy in the bottle.  Now half fill the bottle with chilled white wine and then top up to the rim with cold water. Close up the system, push the button and enjoy! See a video of the start of carbonation cycle here and a video of the end and pour here.

Next the Mimosa Spritzer. This has all the deliciousness of a traditional Mimosa, but it is lighter and more refreshing! Perfect for a warm afternoon, but even better to start with at brunch. To create this Mimosa Spritzer, fill the flavor chamber with orange juice and place a carbonator in the carbonation chamber. Add a few ice cubes to the bottle then half fill the bottle with chilled white wine and top up with cold water to the rim. Close up the Bonne O, push the button and watch the show! Finally a tart bubbly treat! The Grapefruit Ginger Basil Spritzer is a tart and sweet combination of flavors that combine beautifully. It is a wonderfully subtle and sophisticated sipper for a warm afternoon or evening. To create it, fill the flavor chamber with half grapefruit juice and half ginger syrup. Place a carbonator in the carbonation chamber. Place a few ice cubes and a handful of basil leaves in the bottle. Half fill the bottle with chilled white wine and top up with cold water. Close up the system, press the button and watch as the basil is pressure infused into the spritzer. Open & enjoy!
