It's official! We have the cutest customers in the world - scientifically proven below.
It is also true that the most discerning parents in the world are starting to use the Bonne O system to make drinks their kids enjoy and they are happy to give them. This week's post has drink ideas from Bonne O customers. Our customers have customized their creations for their family. We hope they give you ideas you can use. We also hope you email your creations to create@bonneo.com or post on our social so others can learn from you.
First a note on our flavors. They are designed to be as close to homemade as possible. Each contains as few ingredients as possible and no artificial colors, no artificial flavors, no artificial sweeteners and no added preservatives. Each contains the core pure ingredient associated with the flavor (e.g., lemon = lemon concentrate, orange = orange concentrate, pom = pom concentrate, ginger = ginger extract, root beer = sarsaparilla extract, cola = cola nut extract). The flavors are powerful and designed to be used in full or partial concentration and mixed together for creativity. They are sweetened with cane sugar - rather than use artificial sweeteners to reduce calories, we offer ways to use partial packages (they are resealable) to replace sugar with the flavor from real, natural ingredients.
First we have an idea to create a full flavor sparkling lemonade with half the sugar. Personally, I think this tastes better than sparkling lemonade alone. Take a few strawberries, hulled and sliced and put in the bottle. Top up the bottle with cold water to the rim. Half-fill the flavor chamber with lemon syrup and top up with cold water. Put a carbonator in the carbonation chamber, close up the system and push the button. Voila! You have created a full flavor, half calorie Strawberry-Infused Sparkling Lemonade. Video here. Open this creation over the sink. A hit with all ages and you get to eat slightly bubbly strawberries with each glass!
Next a full flavor, half calorie Sparkling Orange Soda! Take half an orange and cut into segments, preferably cutting off the rind as well so that flavor can exit the orange from all directions. Place the orange segments into the bottle and top up with cold water to the rim. Half fill the flavor chamber with orange syrup and top up with cold water. Place a carbonator in the carbonation chamber, close the system and push the button. In minutes, a full flavored orange soda with half the calories. Video here. Open this creation over the sink.
The two cuties in the left hand picture at the top of this post are drinking the next idea. It's a Pom-Apple Sparkler and got a big thumbs up! Half fill the bottle with cold apple juice and top up with cold water to the rim. Half fill the flavor chamber with pom syrup and top up with cold water. Place a carbonator in the carbonation chamber, close up the system and push the button. Video here. Refreshing and delicious.
This is a way to pump up the flavor of your ginger ale while taking down the sugar and calories. It's an Apple and Lemon Infused Ginger Ale. The apple and lemon combine to mellow the sharp ginger taste for an all ages hit. Place a few segments of apple and a few segments of lemon (preferably with the rind cut off as well to allow the taste to exit the lemon in all directions) in the bottle and top the bottle up with cold water to the rim. Half fill the flavor chamber with Ginger Syrup and top up with cold water. Place a carbonator in the carbonation chamber, close the system and push the button. Video here. Delicious!
Take a look at the color of the apple post-infusion. It goes translucent from having the flavor squeezed out at up to 80psi. That is the power of pressure infusion. Squeezes the natural flavors right into the drink.
Finally we have the Root Beer and Cola. These are very popular treats that we have created as close to homemade as possible. We haven't yet figured out how to make half calorie versions similar to the creations above - if you have ideas, share them with us at create@bonneo.com. Until then, enjoy as a treat! For great carbonation, remember to use cold water filled to the rim. For extra cold water put a few ice cubes in the bottle before carbonating.
For both the Root Beer (above, video here) and the Cola (below, video here), fill the bottle with a few ice cubes and top up with very cold water to the rim. Fill the flavor chamber with the syrup and place a carbonator in the carbonation chamber. Close the system and push the button. Enjoy!
