Looking for a fun and light cocktail for happy hour? This sparkling twist on the classic Greyhound cocktail is perfect. Sparkling the grapefruit juice and water with the vodka allows us to add flavour without using as much juice. Making it a much lighter drink.
The basic version of the cocktail is simply made by mixing grapefruit juice and vodka (or gin), which makes it slightly heavy as an afternoon or evening cocktail. To make it lighter and more interesting, we recommend sparkling the cocktail with lemon and water.
Making it is quite simple. Add 3-4 ice cubes along with a handful of lemon slices and 2-3 oz of vodka to the bottle. Fill the bottle to the top with water.
Fill the flavour chamber with grapefruit juice or, if you really like grapefruit, mix grapefruit juice concentrate and water in the chamber for a stronger flavour. Place a carbonator in the carbonation chamber.
Close up the system and press the button to sparkle & infuse!
Open & serve now or store the bottle sealed and sparked in the refrigerator for later.
