The drink of the summer is the Aperol Spritz! It's popular for good reasons. It's light, slightly sweet and not too boozy. The Italians know warm, summer days and how to enjoy them. We're happy to take this tip from the Mediterranean and sip this bubbly cocktail over ice on a hot summer patio.
The traditional proportions are 3 parts sparkling wine, 2 parts Aperol and 1 part sparkling water, but this drink is all about adjusting to taste and is often poured without measuring. You can use any proportions and sparkle in your Bonne O, but we recommend the following for the lightest, brightest and most refreshing Aperol Spritz we think you'll ever enjoy! Fill the flavour chamber with Aperol and half fill the bottle with white wine and top up with cold water. Place a carbonator in the carbonation chamber and close up the system.
Press the button to sparkle all the ingredients in the bottle.
Garnish a wine glass with a slice of orange and optionally a cocktail straw. Pour & enjoy! Ciao patio weather!
Here is a short summary video of the steps as well.
